Opportunity Knocked. She Answered.

Jason, Business Attorney

Jason, a savvy business attorney, provides a valuable service to other lawyers.

He prospects by looking at state directories of law firms and selects those that fit his criteria.

Once he identifies these practices, he sends an introductory email detailing his experience and the reason for his note. He follows up with a phone call and, where appropriate, a meeting or visit.

He consulted me because he wanted to convert more prospects into clients.

He showed me his usual email message. It contained information about his education, experience, and the company’s mission.

Then he gave me the prospect’s website to view so that I could identify the prospect’s personality or buying style.

Gloria’s photo radiated energy. She is an ambitious attorney with an enviable record of achievements during and after law school.

Instead of his usual email, I counseled Jason to send the following 3-sentence message:

  1. I’m Jason and the name of his company.

  2. I have an opportunity for you.

  3. Are you interested?

Within 24 hours, Gloria responded, they set up an appointment, and later she became his client.

The process of finding an eligible prospect occurred in record time.

What was the reason for his success?

Gloria’s personality takes risks and likes opportunities. By carefully communicating in her style, Jason captured her attention.

While this approach worked with Gloria, it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution.

You must tailor the message to match your reader.

Match Your Message to Your Audience

Are you uncomfortable promoting yourself?

Maybe it feels like you have to be braggy or pushy to sign up more clients - and that approach doesn't align with your values.

Or maybe you're wondering how to cram all your expertise into a 30-second statement that makes you the obvious choice.

The gap between understanding your value to potential clients and conveying it can feel insurmountable.

Yet without the right approach, you may find that you can’t articulate your message in a way that resonates with your potential clients and referral sources.

And it gets worse because if you think everyone buys the same way you do, half your potential clients are frustrated by your slow sales cycle while the other half feel like you're being too pushy.

Confident Conversations bridges this gap without compromising integrity

This program demystifies the sales process, focusing on understanding buyer behavior and aligning your message with what your market truly seeks while talking in a style that matches the buyer’s style.

Through interactive activities, real-life examples, and actionable strategies, in Confident Conversations, you'll embrace your unique selling style while matching the preferred buying style of your clients.

You'll leave equipped with the confidence and tools to turn consultations into clients, ensuring your business thrives without ever feeling like you're 'selling'.

Join us for a transformative virtual workshop exploring the art of understanding buyer behavior and tailoring your message accordingly.
